INSSA Member Vote Results

INSSA are pleased to announce that both proposals in our recent vote passed after a vote of our membership.

Proposal 1.

INSSA proposed donating £1,000 to YMCA North Shields’ “Fund a Stage” appeal to help keep the Picnic in the Park event free by covering key stage, audio, and safety costs, while giving young local musicians a supported platform to perform; the donation would be split between the 6 June 2026 event and next year's event on a date to be confirmed.

Result: Approved with 83% of the vote share

Proposal 2.

INSSA proposed donating £500 to help fund a new defibrillator (AED) installation in the North Shields area, reinforcing INSSA’s commitment to public health and CPR awareness.

Result: Approved with 97% of the vote share.

Overall turnout was 33% of members.
