INSSA are pleased to announce that both proposals in our recent vote passed after a vote of our membership. Proposal 1. INSSA proposed donating £1,000 to YMCA North Shields’ “Fund a Stage” appeal to help keep the Picnic in the Park event free by covering key stage, audio, and safety costs, while giving young local musicians a supported platform to perform; the donation would be split between the 6 June 2026 event and next year's event on a date to be confirmed. Donation to The Meadows Community Centre
On behalf of our members, we are delighted to have been able to donate 76 Easter Eggs to The Meadows Community Centre Kids Club. Funds raised from our popular Jack of Clubs draw have made this donation possible and it's thanks to volunteer ticket sellers like Sarah McDonald and Caroline Cansdale, seen here alongside our vice chair Graeme Cansdale, that we've been able to raise funds that support the club and local organisations and projects.

INSSA announce continuation of youth sponsorship
INSSA are delighted to continue their support of North Shields Juniors under 8s girls team having initially sponsored them at under 7 level last season. The girls play in the Northumberland Football League and recently secured a 3-3 draw against Wide Open Pumas last weekend with Nancy, Lily & April getting the goals. Vase Donation Vote

Club Liaison Appointed
At a recent INSSA committee meeting it was proposed that we elect a club liaison officer in a bid to improve, and formalise communication between ourselves and the club management.
