INSSA are pleased to announce that both proposals in our recent vote passed after a vote of our membership. Proposal 1. INSSA proposed donating £1,000 to YMCA North Shields’ “Fund a Stage” appeal to help keep the Picnic in the Park event free by covering key stage, audio, and safety costs, while giving young local musicians a supported platform to perform; the donation would be split between the 6 June 2026 event and next year's event on a date to be confirmed. Result: Approv

On behalf of our members, we are delighted to have been able to donate 76 Easter Eggs to The Meadows Community Centre Kids Club. Funds raised from our popular Jack of Clubs draw have made this donation possible and it's thanks to volunteer ticket sellers like Sarah McDonald and Caroline Cansdale, seen here alongside our vice chair Graeme Cansdale, that we've been able to raise funds that support the club and local organisations and projects.

Our AGM will be held on Tuesday 17th March 2026 at No1, The Basement, Northumberland Place, North Shields, starting 7pm. Applications from members are now invited for election to the committee.
