INSSA Vote Results

These are the results of our members vote on the allocation of INSSA funds (July 2025).


There was a 55% overall turnout.


The 8 voting proposals.


1) The ring-fencing of £3400 for North Shields Football Club to invest in infrastructure projects aimed at satisfying promotion criteria. Yes 95% No 5%


2) Sponsorship of 5 NSFC pitch squares (5x£25) Total - £125. Yes 82% No 18%


3) Sponsorship of a first team player at £100. Yes 92% No 8%


4) INSSA to be match day sponsors at 3 NSFC home games this season (3x£120) Total - £360 Yes 92% No 8%


5) INSSA to sponsor match balls at 3 home games this season (3x£60) Total - £180 Yes 88% No 12%


6) To invest in the further development of female football at North Shields Juniors (in be consultation with Simon Brown and his colleagues who oversee all 17 girls/women's teams) to the sum of either: a) No funding 2% b) £300 23% c) £400 17% d) £500 58%


7) Last season INSSA sponsored NSJ under 7s girls team. We would like to continue to invest in their future as they progress to under 8s and have received a request for additional kit to enable them to take on more players. Cost of £200 with an additional tournament entry fee of £50. Total - £250 Yes 95% No 5%  


8) Lee Wilkinson is a NSFC fanatic and also a fantastic campaigner, raising awareness of Motor Neuron Disease. INSSA propose to make a donation towards Lee's Great North Run fundraiser of £300. Yes 97% No 3%
